Ivan Miladinov is a solo artist from Bulgaria that plays an avant garde and melodic form of death metal and this is a review of his 2017 single "Soul Finder" which was released by Club Inferno Ent.
Avant garde style synths start off the single along with some symphonic and prog elements which also mixes in with the heavier sections of t he music while the vocals are a mixture of grim screams that add in a touch of black metal and death metal growls along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them.
A great amount of mid 90's era 2000's era Swedish and Finnish influences can be heard in the music while the riffs also bring in a decent amount of melody along with the solos and leads also being done in a very melodic fashion and most of t he music sticks to either a slow or mid tempo direction but also speeding up on the second track as well as adding in a brief use of blast beats.
Ivan Miladinov plays a musical style that takes melodic death metal and takes it into more of an avant garde direction, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover depression, madness and emotion themes.
In my opinion Ivan Miladinov are a very great sounding avant garde and melodic death metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this single. RECOMMENDED TRACK "I Was In Hell". 8 out of 10.
