Unborn Suffer are a band from Poland that plays a mixture of brutal death metal and grindcore and this is a review of their 2016 album "Nihilist" which will be released on February 1st by Selfmadegod Records.
Horror movie samples start off the album and a few seconds later the music s tarts getting more heavy along with all of the musical instruments sounding powerful as well as some guttural death metal growls and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard as well as the songs adding in high pitched grindcore screams.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the songs also bring in a great amount of brutality while some of the more annoying pig squeals can also be heard in certain sections of the recording and spoken word samples a re also used quite a bit throughout the album and there is also a brief use of guitar leads being utilized at times as well as a few seconds of clean guitars.
Unborn Suffer plays a musical style that takes the brutal and slam genres of death metal and mixes it with goregrind to create a very heavy recording and if they would drop the pig squeals they can be a lot better band but are still very good at what they do, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover death and personal struggles themes.
In my opinion Unborn Suffer are a very decent sounding mixture of brutal death metal and grindcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Open Defiance" "Extorted Humanity" "Existence Dies" and "Filthy Liars". 8 out of 10.
