Abominable Putridity are a band from Russia that plays a very brutal form of slam death metal and this is a review of their 2012 album "The Anomalies Of Artificial Origin" which was re-issued in 2015 by Unique Leader Records.
Science fiction movie samples start off the album and after a minute the music goes into a very brutal, slam death metal direction along with some guttural growls and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are very technical sounding and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and some of the riffs also add a great amount of morbid sounding melodies onto the recording and the whole album is very heavy non stop beginning to end.
Abominable Putridity plays a style of slam death metal that is a lot more brutal and technical than most bands of this genre, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover science fiction and horror themes.
In my opinion Abominable Putridity are a very great sounding technical, brutal slam death metal b and and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this re-issue. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "A Massacre In The North" "Lack Of Oxygen" and "The Last Communion". 8 out of 10.
