Enthrallment/People From The Lands Of Vit/United Guttural Records/2012 CD Review

Enthrallment  are  a  band  from  Bulgaria  that  plays  a  very  brutal form  of  death  metal  with  a  grindcore edge  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2012  album  "People  From  The  Lands  Of  Vit"  which  was  released  by  United  Guttural  Records.

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  a  great  amount  of  brutal  sounding  blast  beats  being  thrown  into  the  music,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  is  coming  out  of  the  guitars  and  at  times  they  have  a  very powerful  sound  to  them.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  death  metal  riffs  that  are  very  heavy  and  brutal  sounding  in  the  mid  90's  vein  with  a  good  amount  of  grindcore  influences  being  thrown  into  the  riffing,  while  the  lead  guitars  are  very  chaotic  sounding  death  metal  guitar  solos  and  leads  with  some  technical parts.

Vocals  range  from deep death  metal  growls  to  high  pitched  screams  with  some  samples  being  added  to  one  song,  while  the  lyrics  cover  gore,  murder  and  torture,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and  professional  sound  to  it.

In  my  opinion  Enthrallment  are  a  very  great  sounding  90's  style  death  metal  band  with  a  technical  and  grindcore  edge  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  style,  you  should  check  out  this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Chronicle  Of  Sorrow"  "A Land  Full  Of  Worms... From  The  River  To  The  Void"  "Obsessed  by  Just  Anger"  and  "Unholy  Diviners".  RECOMMENDED  BUY
