Amorphous are a band from Poland that plays a very brutal from of death metal with a grindcore edge and this is a review of their 2012 album "A Perfect Evil" which was released by Let It Bleed Records.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars, as for the synths which are only utilized for a few seconds they bring a very dark and atmospheric sound to the music.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast death metal riffs that are very heavy and brutal sounding with a great amount of grindcore influences being thrown into the riffing, while the lead guitars are very chaotic sounding death metal guitar solos and leads with some technical and melodic parts being thrown in at times.
Vocals range from deep death metal/grind growls to high pitched grindcore screams, while the lyrics cover death and hateful themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, heavy and professional sound.
In my opinion Amorphous are a very great sounding death/grindcore hybrid that dont copy other bands form the genre and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band.
