Aftersundown are a band from Indonesia that plays grindcore/rock and this is a review of their 2010 ep "Sample Intarsi For Human Error" which was released by Torn Flesh Records Net Label.
Drums range from mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from mid paced to fast grindcore riffs and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals range from deep death/grind growls and high pitched grindcore screams, while the lyrics cover everyday and drinking themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful and heavy sound to it.
In my opinion Aftersundown are a very great sounding grindcore/rock hybrid and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Gay Militer" and "In Grind We Drunk". RECOMMENDED BUY.
