Diabolic/Excisions Of Excorism/DeathGasmRecords/2010 CD Review

Diabolic are a band from Florida that has a history dating back to the 90's that plays satanic death metal with a blackened touch and this is a review of their 2010 album "Excisions Of Excorcism" which was released by DeathGasm Records.

Drums are mostly fast and technical with alot of blast beats, while the bass playing is all fast and midpaced riffing that follows that riffs that are coming out of the guitars, as for the keyboards they are only used on this song and they have an evil and avant garde sound to them.

Rhythm guitars are all fast and brutal death metal riffs that are very heavy and brutal and also have a small amount of influences from blackened death metal along with some midpaced riffing that has a doom/death feel but is only used on one song, while the leads are very fast and distorted sounding guitar solos.

Vocals are all deep death metal growls with a small amount of high pitched screams and some spoken word parts on the last song that have a ritualistic feel to them, while the lyrics are very hateful, anti christaian and satanic, as for the production on this recording it sounds very heavy and professional with all of the instruments sounding very brutal.

In my opinion Diabolic are a very good death metal band and this is the most brutal album that I have heard from this band and if you are a fan of their previous works and other brutal death metal bands you wont be disapointed. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Excisions Of Excorcism" "Bloodwashed" "False Belief" and "Fragmented Kreation". RECOMMENDED BUY.
